These are some methods to do batch editing using Adobe Lightroom.
For the sake of clarity, We will call the image you are copying edits from Primary Image (Only one Image) and the images you are pasting edits to as Secondary Images (Many Images).

Copying the Edits

Select the image you want to copy edits from. You can copy all edits using  command + C ( for MAC) and Ctrl + C (for windows).

Customizing the edits

You can customize the edits by pressing command + Shift + C (for MAC) and Ctrl + Shift +C (for windows). This opens up a Dialogue Box. The box has options that allow you to copy specific changes you deem fit to be casted upon the batch you want to edit and it allows you to leave out the changes you deem not fit to copy. For Example, If you want to copy the light adjustments of the primary image and leave out the color adjustments customizing is the way to go!

Pasting the Edits

Once you have copied the edits from the primary image it is time to paste them onto the secondary images.

Hold Command (MAC) and Ctrl (windows) and click the Images in the view you want to apply edits to in the batch editing process. 

Once the Process is over make sure to open and examine the Secondary images to Verify that the images are edited.

  • In the Lightroom Library Click on the Import button.
  • On the right hand side of the import window select Apply during import panel.
  • Now Select a preset from the list and the preset will be applied to every photo/video that is imported.
